1. The principle of arrangement of speakers
The arrangement of wall speaker generally follows the following principles:

1) Make the sound field of the hall uniform;
2) The audio-visual direction is the same, and the sound is kind and natural;
3) It is beneficial to overcome the feedback and improve the sound transmission gain;
4) The line is simple, easy to maintain and adjust the coverage angle;
5) The sound from the speaker should be delayed by 5~30ms compared to the natural sound source;
6) Cover all auditoriums according to the speaker coverage angle (4kHz, 8kHz is the axis drop by 6dB).

2. The arrangement of the speakers
The loudspeaker layout should be determined according to factors such as building function, body shape, space height, and auditorium settings. It is generally divided into: scattered layout, centralized layout, and mixed layout.
Wall Mounted Speaker
1) Centralized
In the following cases, the PA loudspeaker (or loudspeaker system) should be arranged in a centralized manner;
(1) Those who set the stage and require the same audio-visual effect;
(2) Those who are not suitable for scattered layout due to the limitation of building and body shape.
When centrally arranged, the direct sound of the audience area can be more uniform, and the sound feedback can be minimized.
Centralized systems are installed centrally with a single loudspeaker or a group of loudspeakers.
For example, in a stage-shaped hall, the speaker system is close to the natural sound source and is usually placed above the stage or on both sides of the stage frame. The advantage of this arrangement is that the sound comes from the direction of the stage, the sense of direction is consistent from the viewing and listening, and the hearing is more natural. The disadvantage is that for complex shapes (such as the viewing platform is too deep) or large halls, the sound field is not easy to be uniform, and even the sound level of the rear seat may be low. In addition, the centralized arrangement is easy to cause feedback howling because the speakers are close to the microphones on the stage.
In engineering design, it should be noted that a loudspeaker or sound column with strong unidirectionality should be selected, which is conducive to overcoming acoustic feedback. When the loudspeaker is arranged above the table mouth, the effect of overcoming the acoustic feedback is better than that on both sides of the table mouth. For occasions with a higher space height, the obvious problem is that the listeners in the front row will feel that the sound comes from overhead. In order to overcome this defect, auxiliary speakers can be added at the stage (the power of the speakers should be distributed smaller), so that the The sound field of the front row is even and the sound is moved down.
When the speakers are arranged on both sides of the stage, the problem of acoustic feedback is more prominent, because such as speakers and sound columns, their directivity in the horizontal direction is relatively poor. The audience in the central seat will cause dual sound source interference, and the audience is very uncomfortable. The solution to the problem is to hang the speakers as high as possible, and appropriately add auxiliary speakers. Others are halls with spectators on all sides, such as gymnasiums, and the loudspeakers are arranged above the center of the competition hall. In the performance area where microphones are placed, care should be taken to control the directivity of the speakers. Due to the complex and diverse shapes of the halls, the centralized system can use many loudspeakers installed together and configured according to the curves of different shapes.
